the Noodle Loft

One of our favorite nights out in Beijing is to eat at the Noodle Loft in Beijing's Chaoyang district .
This is traditional Shanxi cusine.
20 chefs working on a raised open kitchen producing a 101 different types of Noodle before your eyes.
Sit at the bar , and you're almost in the kitchen .
One guy was making long thin noodle that he was snaking acorss the kitchen at least 15ft into a pan of boiling water .
Lots and lots of noise and very theatrical .
