WESTCOUNTRY ART

Born in 1918 in Norwich, Norfolk, Rita moved to Devon and taught art here. In 1974 she won the Medaille d'Argent (silver medal) at the Paris Salon and in that same year was elected to membership of the New English Art Club and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. 3 years later she was elected to membership of the RWA.
