Chinese Cabinets

A 19thC black lacquered Chinese wedding cabinet. This piece is in very good condition throughout; the lacquer being smooth and uncracked . The doors are decorated with doves and flowers. The use of colour is fabulous, particularly the red, which is extremely vibrant. Below the doors another lacquered panel depicts a scholar's items, with a pierced and carved pair of red dragons below. Internally there are removable shelves and a locker below the doors.
