A small collection of Mid 20thC abstract carpets from the Middle Atlas mountains and the Plains of Marrakesh.
Mostly mid 20thC.
Morrocan carpets bear little relation to the expected formats that we have become used to in middle eastern and central asian weaving .
Lack of symmetry , and rapid change in pattern are features to be found in the more abstract rugs from this region .
